The Producers Cooperative Marketing Association (the Co-op) is a member owned cooperative engaged in serving the supply and marketing needs of its members and the general public in the field of agriculture. Since 1944, the Co-op has become a thriving manufacturer of livestock and show feeds in Texas. Our retail stores continue to grow and develop to meet the demands of our customer base. We, most recently, added a trailer division focused on sales and service for some of the most popular livestock trailer brands available.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues in livestock, horse, and trailers with living quarters
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers
- Installation of generators, air conditioners, other conveniences
- Test equipment and systems for performance
- Perform repairs to axles, brakes and electrical system
- Replace parts
- Document repairs
- Provide customer service excellence in every interaction
- Help achieve strategic goals and targets of the trailer division by contributing to and enhancing overall sales
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education required
- Welding and fabrication experience is required
- Basic understanding of agricultural products
- Experience in a shop environment
- Experience with hand tools and general shop equipment
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, and calculate inventory
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry products over 50 pounds in order to perform and cover all work floor duties
